Wednesday 18th May – FRESH AIR FITNESS AND FLOW MORNING with Nixercise

We are very excited to announce that we are hosting another Fresh Air Fitness & Flow (FAFF!) morning with the wonderful Nix of Nixercise.

Ready to get your boots muddy? Ready to roll out your yoga matt? All in one morning and all in the beauty and tranquility of Poundon House?

Lets get #offroad and #onmatt together!




Outdoor training with Nix

Nixercise offers outdoor fitness training for people of all abilities, no two classes are the same – each incorporates a mixture of natural bodyweight movements, with cardio and stretching designed to get your body looking its best.

Yoga with Alicia

After outdoor training with Nix there will be a yoga class with Alicia to stretch, unwind and relax. The class is suitable for beginners but also designed to be challenging. Alicia is trained in Ashtanga but the class will be more akin to a vinyasa flow followed by restorative postures and a long relaxation.


The Modern Baker

This time we are adding on another healthy twist with delicious packed lunches from The Modern Baker (based in Summertown Oxford). You can choose to take them away or enjoy at Poundon House before you leave.


The Modern Baker is a healthy food cafe with an organic sourdough bakery at its heart, it also makes fabulous healthy salads. It’s concept is based on good provenance, great tasting food and promoting healthy living. Your healthy nutrient – packed lunches will include a delicious salad, raw bite and fermented kombuca juice.

Those who came in January know the FAFF morning is super fun, hard work and leaves you full of endorphins. It was also snowing in January so we got a little frosty! Now we’ve entered Spring, the temperature is less arctic but it will be no less challenging or fun. The fields are finally turning lush and green, plus you will be running past beautiful blossom as it begins to spread on the trees and hedgerows at Poundon. As always, the Poundon House yoga shala is a warm and inviting place to practice. I will take you through a class aimed at stretching out, challenge and also relax after your outdoor workout.

After all the hard work is done we can really relax, chat and tuck into well earned healthy Modern Baker lunches.

The format will be similar to January –

Arrival at Poundon House from 9am – herbal teas available 
9.30 – 10.15 outdoor training session with Nixercise
Healthy snack to keep energy levels up
10.30 -11.30 yoga with Alicia: stretch, breath and relax
11.30 – 12.30 herbal teas and chats. Packed lunch by The Modern Baker (option to eat at Poundon House or take away)
Departure by 1pm
Tickets – £45

This includes two fitness sessions at exclusive & private country venue Poundon House, herbal refreshments & Modern Baker packed lunch.
